MACH Ensemble Collective

MACH Ensemble Collective consists of four core musicians from diverse backgrounds who share a common mission: to present chamber music in engaging and innovative ways while fostering meaningful connections with audiences and expanding appreciation for both classical and contemporary repertoire.

Helena is an active performer and researcher whose work focuses on women composers and the rediscovery of underrepresented voices in music history. Since her DMA studies, she has collaborated with pianist Curtis Pavey since 2019, presenting more than 15 performances of piano four-hand repertoire across the United States and Canada, including Québec, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Colorado, Ohio, Missouri, and Kansas. Their programming highlights both standard and contemporary works by composers such as Lila Meretzky, Amy Beach, Amy Williams, and Yoshinao Nakada in addition to Franz Schubert, and Maurice Ravel, contributing to broader visibility of diverse repertoire.

Helena and violinist Michael Klyce began collaborating at a summer festival and have since developed an active performance partnership since 2023, presenting approximately eleven concerts across four states. Their work spans traditional and contemporary repertoire, often incorporating dramatic and theatrical elements to enhance audience engagement. Performances include appearances with the Odyssey Chamber Music Series (May 2, 2025), as well as Surry Barn Concerts and Music for Food in Maine.

Violist Amy Huh joined the collective with a shared commitment to championing living composers through intimate chamber music settings. Helena Hyesoo Kim and Amy Dahm Huh have performed in Hawaii, Missouri, and New York City. As a full ensemble, members have performed at Paramus Library (February 6, 2026) and at Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center (February 7, 2026).

Through sustained collaborations, diverse programming, and performances across multiple regions, MACH Ensemble Collective continues to build a strong record of artistic activity and audience engagement.
